Meet TCR Counselor Therapist

With over 15 years of experience supporting children, individuals, couples, and families, Cindy Johnson is a dedicated counselor-psychotherapist. In August 2017, she founded the Therapeutic Counseling Room (TCR)—a safe, compassionate space devoted to mental health well-being, social-emotional wellness, academic and career success, and family healing. Through both school-based and private sessions, TCR offers sustainable, evidence-based support to individuals and communities.

Cindy offers deep therapeutic support through compassionate, personalized psychotherapy. While she does not provide clinical diagnoses, she specializes in counseling children and adolescent teens navigating mental health disorders. Her versatile practice includes individual, group, couples, and family counseling, substance use support, and career counseling to help students and young adults plan for a purposeful future. Cindy uses an integrative approach, thoughtfully adapting her methods to meet the unique needs of each client. She blends evidence-based frameworks with creative and deep therapeutic insights, including:
